OK. Here I am again, catching up for a couple month's worth of adventures. I'm not sure how this happens - well, yes, I know how it happens! My days are fairly non-stop and then I fall asleep by 8:30 pm every night. Doesn't leave a ton of room for activities beyond the essential.
So....here I am at Sumner Memorial High School, waiting to meet with students and reflecting back to the weeks before Christmas 2011. This woman must multi-task!
I enjoy this photo of Elfie. Have we talked about Elfie? Elfie comes to our house on the evening of Thanksgiving and hangs out until Santa arrives on Christmas Eve. Elfie watches our boys and then flies back to talk with Santa each night. We know that he flies to the North Pole at night because each morning he's in a different spot! Magical. Elfie lets Santa know if Noah and Eli are being good boys....or not. Elfie can listen to Noah and will relay any requests to Santa each night. Momma loves Elfie, and we are always sorry to see Elfie go back to the North Pole.
Noah, Eli and Papa head up the Bennoch Road to Carpenter's Tree Farm to choose the perfect Christmas tree. Noah is an excellent helper - he likes to drive the wagon. You can see that we haven't had much snow!
Mr. Eli. Super cute and enjoying being outside. Not so cold today....check out the bells on his wrist! Christmas baby.
This was taken at Bangor's Festival of Lights parade. We hung out with Linda & Howard Keene (MiMi and Papa) Emmy and Ali. A little cold but fun to watch the floats, hear the music and celebrate the season. We heard that Santa Claus was at the end of the parade, but after two hours we were tired and cold and instead headed to Geaghan's for some yummy orange chicken (Noah's favorite meal - boneless buffalo chicken with blue cheese)
Noah says Merry Christmas - sporting a Santa hat, Superman cape and a hockey stick.
