Gene and Noah picked up sticks around the yard after school on Friday and this crazy little hail storm blew through the yard. It's that time of the year in Maine - you never know what kind of weather you'll get. You see that most of the snow is gone, though. It's time for me to order seeds from the Johnny's catalogue! Just look at that garden just waiting for us to plant it.
So last night, after the picking up sticks in the yard adventure, Noah decided to tell some of his own bedtime stories. Here is one (obviously influenced by the day's events) for your enjoyment:
Eli is not only feeling better, he seems to have grown while he was in the hospital! Before we went, he was eating around 4 ounces/feeding. Now he needs 6 ounces. I bet he is making up for lost time. I am so amazed - and thankful - that he is right back to his regular routine. He is so social these days - and his favorite spot is the Baby Bjorn.

Remember this student Nurse?
No longer, baby. Say hello to Gene Schaff, BSN - Nurse on the Cardiopulmonary floor at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is psyched about the job and the people he is working with. He will work 12 hour shifts - mostly at night - and we will figure out our new daily schedules with Papa at work! In most cases, he will be home at 7:30 each day, so he'll be able to see the boys before school and help get us all out the door in the morning.
